The first year and a bit was complete bliss (we'd run hand in hand along the beach and everything :smileyhappy:) but then the headphone cradle just snapped. I liked them so much I thought they were worth fixing. Cut to another year later and the headphones completely snapped off.
So the point of this post is constructive feedback (especially in light of the current h.ear blog article which focuses on the somewhat fun but ultimately superficial topic of colour) plastic selection is what let these headphones down*. I'm pretty sure it wasn't selected on the basis of density to give better sound despite what a 1st year marketing darling might tell us but more to do with the unit cost per gram.
*That and I suspect not catering for those with above average sized heads
