Bug with Google Home and Sony TV

I have a Sony TV (KD-55X8505).

It works for a while to cast music and video from Google Home, then after a few days, I need to uninstall and install the Google Cast Reciever in order to be able to cast media to the TV.

Any solution?

Hi @parost

Im begining to wonder if your issues in regards to casting is also linked to your Wifi issues in your other thead (HERE).

I am going to pass both issues to Sony Support for them to investigate and ultimately resolve.

For me personally, I dont have issues in casting to my KD-55XD8577 TV connected via ethernet to a Asus DLS-AC68U router.

Anyhow, Sony should be in touch with you and please let us know how you get on.

I have happened again...

Not a word from Sony, I have opened a ticket in Sweden, but no one seems to be interested in solving this.

Can't say that I am impressed...
