Hi,

Please can anyone advise what the best picture settings would be on the Sony Bravia KD55XF9005

Since the latest update the picture quality does not seem as good.

Hi @kerinda. I use the standard default settings on my KD55XE9305 and the picture is perfect for all modes and sources. If it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it. It doesn’t matter really as your eyesight adjusts and anything becomes the norm. There are a few strange people that spend £300 to get their TV calibrated. Each to their own.

Do you also leave the contrast on 100%

I do notice when looking at the TV from a side view the picture seems to be white.

Hi @kerinda. Yes, contrast is on Max (default). I don’t notice any whitening from any angle. The VA panel (assume yours is the same) produces fantastic deep blacks. 99.9% of the time I use Sky Q 2160p 10bit.
