Unable to set up IR blaster

Hi, I have a KD49XF9005BU tv and a SKY Q 2TB box and am unable to get the IR blaster to work.

Does anyone know if my set up is compatible to use the IR blaster please?

Hi there,

I'm not entirely sure and therefore would recommend contacting your device manufacturer to confirm it's compatibility with the IR Blaster function.

You can also find more details on how to setup the IR Blaster to control the TV and a set-top box during the Initial Setup process here.

Hi Sean Mc,

Sony have informed me that the SKY Q 2TB box is not compatible with IR blaster and they are also unable to give me a date as to when it will be compatible.
