KD49-XE8396 Chromecast disconnects ?

So about an hour into casting a movie from my laptop to the tv the Chromecast disconnects, so then I'll reconnect, 10mins later the tv will turn itself off ? It's now happened 3 times.

Any idea guys ?

Welcome to the Sony Community.

Can you make sure your TV has the latest Firmware update. It might be also worth checking that your device and the TV are connected to the same network.
