Sony KD-65X8509C Problems

new here and hope somebody can help I was given a Sony tv by my brother and it ended up going into a boot loop after I tried to update the firmware I guessed the av board was bricked and bought a couple spare boards from eBay (model no,s all the same etc ) first board came from a 55x8509c and the 2nd board was part of a bundle from a 65x8509c but poss faulty I’ve connected the various boards and first board gave me a green and amber/red blinking light approx 15 times and the 2nd board gave me a light blue then white light in the little panel I swapped back the original board and I no longer get it going into the boot loop I’ve tried various things over the last week ( factory reset etc) can I somehow rollback the firm ware etc or do I have to bite the bullet and take it to a tv shop at great expense
