Built in tuner not recognised

Hi everyone

Im new here (great forum) and would like to ask for some expert help - I’ve reached a dead end.

I have a KDL-55W805C, upgraded to Android Nougat - I no longer have the tv tuner capability.

It doesn’t offer it as part of the initial set up, nor as an input, not under TV menu (no channel set up menu)

ive done a hard reset, reinstalled the firmware (by usb), cleared storage - no joy.

Any help would be great (fingers crossed)

The TV tuner capability, by default or after a hard reset, is provided by YouView.

Can you see, and choose, that option on your menus?

Hi there - thanks for taking an interest.

Sadly I have no menu option, under the tv menu(from the home screen), it lists streaming services- then the HDMI and av connections
Nothing for channel set up, Youview or any other.

A bit flummoxed!

As well you might be.

If it is still under warranty, I would suggest talking to the retailer you bought it from, who can either sort it for you, or swap the TV if it is faulty.

But can you post a screenshot here, so we can see what you see when you put the TV on?

Sorry - I didn’t make it clear that I meant on the Home screen, the first one you posted a picture of.

It looks like it’s been scrolled down halfway and left there, though I can’t think the issue is really that simple.
