Since the most recent update my TV no longer wakes up when I wake my Nvidia shield. It has worked fine previously for the past 18 months but updated this morning and it now fails to wake 100% of the time.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
The TV is a KD55XD7005.
Everything else seems to be working fine, the TV still turns off when I
sleep my shield and I can still control the volume etc and can even still
control the entire shield using my TV remote the only aspect that isn't
working is the waking of the TV when I wake the shield.

I have verified the relevant option is enabled in the settings of the TV.

I have a HDMI soundbar plugged in also which cannot wake the TV although
I'm not sure if this was ever capable of waking the TV. The soundbar sleeps
when the TV sleeps but not the other way round.

I don't have any other devices that are capable that I could test it with I
don't think

I think I have some development on this.

It turns out if the TV has been off for a while (exact timing tbc) then it DOES wake with my Nvidia shield. It just doesn't wake for X amount of time after sleeping the device.

This is new behaviour since the most recent update and I used to be able to wake the device immediately after sleeping it.
