I want to buy a new Sony Bravia Next week. But i would be grateful if i can know specific differences between the XF85 and XF87 Model Series. Thank you.

I have the KD-55XF8796 and it is a lovely tv. I watch a lot of motor sport and was told that it had faster motionflow than the 55XF8505.

Yes, 1000Hz versus 800Hz, but still native 100Hz. But Sony’s marketing is weird here. The ‘05 is black surround, 800Hz, the ‘77 silver surround, 1000Hz, the ‘96 black surround, 1000Hz.

But all the same RRP. So why would anyone buy the ‘05? Even if you could tell synthesised 800Hz from synthesised 1000Hz on native 100Hz.

After which it just comes down to what colour surround you want.
