KD-65X8509C Power Issue

I’ve had my TV for a little bit over 2 years (out of warranty now I’m assuming).

The TV sporadically turns on, and not always. The white light at the bottom turns on when you turn it on, but nothing from the screen and eventually the white light fades and turns off.

Sometimes it will work fine and other times no response.

Is anyone else having this issue? My neighbour said it’s a power board issue... does anyone know how much it would cost to do this and how I would get it done. It’s a 65’ TV and I won’t be able to fit it into the car to take anywhere!

Yes tried that, worked after a while but then stopped again...
