Bravia KD65XG8196 - Does power lead detach from TV?

I purchased the Bravia KD-65XG8196 and currently have it on it's legs.

In order to wall mount, I need to remove the power lead and replace with another longer one.

Daft question, but I'm loathed to try and yank it out if it is fixed in - does the lead detach from back of set?

If so do Sony sell longer leads?

Thanks for taking time to look into this.

I'm not sure if I have interpreted the manual correctly, however what I had seen prior to my post was that the diagram illustrates the loop that holds the length of power cable detaches from the TV, rather than the cable itself which remains fixed? This is what I have already seen on my tv.
