I have a kdl-40cx523. Got it back onto my Wi-Fi but still have no apps . Looking to watch Netflix but nothing there? Any help please?

This 2011 TV isn’t Android, so your query really belongs in Other, rather than here.

And any apps it ever ran died long ago.

But all is not lost; go and bag yourself a Roku Streaming Stick+, down from £49.99 to £29.99 in the Black Friday sales, available from all good electrical retailers, and dripping with Netflix, NowTV, Amazon Prime Video, and scads of other streaming apps. Just plug it into a spare HDMI input on the set, and into the mains, and you will be good to go, over its inbuilt WiFi.

Dont worry about it being 4K; it will do the HD of your set just fine for now, and will be future-proofed for if/when you make the step up to 4K in the future.
