Have you tried clearing the cached data (under Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data) and then restarting the TV by holding the power button?

Hi everyone, I've been the owner of a 49XH9505 I'm just about to report my issue to Sony support but thought I'd share it here for advice as well. I've experienced a couple of episodes of audio drop out when watching tv through the Youview app. It's happened twice now, once two weeks ago and again today after I installed the latest software (PKG6.5016.0621EU). I have a soundbar connected to hdmi 3 as mentioned the audio drop out has only happened on the YouView App, the sound is on initially and then just drops. I then have to switch to speaker sound which works fine. When I switch back to the soundbar the sound comes on again and then 20 seconds later cuts out. A soft restart and all seems to be working again. I watch Prime mostly and no issues at all from that source. In the audio output settings settings I have the following settings:

Soundmode sync - on
A/V sync - Auto
earc mode: auto
Digital audio out 2 (had some lip sync issues in Auto1)

A slightly bizarre and annoying issue. The fact it's only ever happened on the Youview App (which I rarely watch) and not on the Amazon Prime app, leads me to think it's a bug there rather than the soundbar. I did swap out the hmdi cable the first time it happened two weeks ago but as it has happened again since then I don't think it's the cable. I'll feedback what Sony support have to say, but any advice appreciated.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I tried a powercycle and so far so good although I watch little Youview. If it happens again I will clear the cache and report back.
