Problems with memory card from Xperia E Dual

Recently I bought a Xperia E Dual, and it doesn't take my Memory Card Micro SDHC 8gb, but takes a Micro SD 2gb from my old cellphone

Does anybody know if Xperia E Dual takes Micro SDHC cards?

PS: My memory card is branded from SMART, but i think that it doesn't make muck difference...

That should work fine, however if it was in another device prior to this handset there may be a problem with the system file in the memory card. Does the handset see that there is a card inserted all?

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

Ok, I solved it yesterday, at my old cellphone i put a password for my memory card, and it didn't work until remove it using my old cell´phone again. Thanks for the help

Hi! I have a problem with my Xperia E Dual as well. After I have installed the latest update ( the Android Jelly Bean ver. 4.1 ), my phone keeps on lagging or just shuts down; applications either freezes or force closes; walkman, camera and album apps couldn't read my micro sd card 8 gb and my phone can no longer find bluetooth devices ( although my phone worked perfectly before the jelly bean update was done). I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the update twice but it didn't helped me fix my phone. But I did noticed that every time Google Search auto updates ( to Google Now) my phone's problems starts again. Could it be possible that this is the cause? Because it is still not available in my country, which is the Philippines, that's why it is malfunctioning? Please help me fix my phone

I Have the same problem with Xperia E (single sim) phone. I have tried two sdcard of size 8gb. I tried both sdcard cards the phone hangs, reboots and freezes a lot.

Is this a Bug in hardware Xperia Mobile series?

I have a 16GB sd card in my E1 single sim and it works perfect. There is just a problem in the setings. When in setings, storage you go to apps it gives you at the top: all, runing, on sd card and downloaded. At the bottom under all it says divice memory 1.6gb used 408mb free and under on sd card it says 1.6gb used 389mb free. Strangest thing there is noting instaled on the sd card. The only file on there is for a game sice 692MB thats all.

How do i get it to give me the corect amount of memory there. Every where els it reads the sd card correctly accept there.

Since the time i bought Sony experia E dual some in November 2016, I have not be able to download applications like on the phone. whenever i am trying to download any app from Google Play Store, it is always tell no enough memory to store the app then i bought Sd card though the phone recognize the Sd card but i can not download on Sd card. Please how can I change the default storage location to internal memory or Sd card?

Please instant response will be highly appreciated.
