I was updating my phone software via pc companion ..suddenly my pc shut down .. and now my phone is not even starting and not getting connected to pc.... what should i do ?/

You have to perform a software repair.Make sure the device is turned off.Open PC companion->support zone->update my phone/tablet->repair.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted.

I did that several times. But still the microphone is not working. My phone is a new one and it having microphone issue from the very first day. The microphone never worked for a single time
