Screen problem during a call Xperia E3

Hi,

I have a problem. My Xperia E3 turn of the screen during the calls even if i am not talking with it in my ear and do not let me cancel the call until the answer machine close the call. How can i solve it?? Please help. And thanks

Btw i plug the charger and does not worrk neither

How long have you been facing this?

And
Can you try this?

Go to Settings > About Phone > Diagnostic > Proximity Sensor test.

See if your proximity sensor works.

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Can you advise if you are using some screen protector or case on that device?

These may very well be affecting the proximity sensor of the device, if so I suggest trying to remove them and then testing it.

Please let me know.

Then there might be a faulty proximity sensor.You may need to bring your device to a local Sony Xperia Center.But first you need to contact them.

Thanks my dear friend. The screen Protector was the problem. Then it means i can not use screen protector?

You can use a screen protector, as long as it doesn't cover the proximity sensor.

You could always try making the protective sheet proximity sensor section bigger, if there is no hole you could try making one and then apply the protector.

Hi recently I brought xperia E3 bt nw its showing screen prblm, the screen wl become black but its functioning behind and some times half of the screen flickers n half wl b black. Can any one help me in this regard please.
