Sony Xperia E notification light won't stop blinking

My notification light won't stop blinking while the phone is locked, even though i dont have any missed calls or new messages. I have checked the calendar and tried disabling all the applications' notifications aswell.

I have also tried to turn off the phone, remove the battery and even reseting phone settings.

Any ideas on what i can do? It's really annyoing.

Hi Dude_plis,

Welcome to the community,

What colour is the notification light? also have you checked messaging, if the date had been changed at any time and you received a message, the message itself will show all the way back at that date, so you would need to scroll through the old messages to find it.

I managed to fix the problem by deleting the newest messages I had from the conversation I was having when the problem started.

My old Xperia X10i used to do that when the text messages stored built up, im not sure wot the data limit was but knew i had to delete old messages to stop the led flashing, sounds similar but may not be related at all, just a thought 🙂
