Hello everybody
My new xa has a problem

The signal of sim which has the mobile data is always weak, I tried other sim and turned the mobile data to the second sim and also had the latest system updates but the signal is always weak in the chosen slot either one or two as I chose it for mobile data. I tried all choices only GSM has full signal network but 3g and 4g both cause the the problem of signal weakness
I hope to solve this problem

Thanks a lot for your reply ☺️

I had the sim a week ago

Yes It has a back protective case (I have just removed it now to see if it's the reason)

My signal strength as it's shown in the attached pic

Thanks again

I removed the protective case for about an hour but nothing happened and the signal is still weak with 3g and 4g and completely stable as usual in GSM mode.

Greetings Ali:

-85 dBm is a decent signal strength; you should not be experiencing symptoms such as dropped calls at that level. The signal bars in the notification area do not give an accurate picture. Also, the HSDPA network is considered "3.5G" here in US and is faster than GSM or UMTS, but for me was never stable and data would hang and buffer all the time (on TMO-US). Nothing less than LTE would provide me reliable data stream. I am not sure if this is comparable to the conditions for your country & carrier. Are you experiencing symptoms of weak signal, or are you just relying on the signal bars at top of screen?

Thank you Wirlesswonkfl for your replay

In fact both of them happen

I lose the signal and the calls ability when the network is switched to 3g or lte.

Is there any solution?

I decided to change the device and buy another one from other brands if this problem goes on for another week although I love sony 😥
