Xperia x performance slow to wake up

Since yesterday if my phone is asleep for more than a minute it takes 4 or 5 pushes of the power button before it'll wake up. Tried holding longer or shorter and different fingers but no different.
Haven't downloaded anything new or updated any apps. Tried resetting but still the same.

Turns out the micro sd card that I bought new when I bought the phone had somehow corrupted and slowed down the phone. Removed the card and worked better again.
