Hi Community,

My questions are simply:

How the apps should be putted in background after used them?

They should be putted by using home button or back button? What is the difference between the two? Which method is better?

Thank you for every answer!

Home button is the best option to have the apps at hand as far as I know. Hitting back once or twice might exit them completely.

Ok, I have noticed that using the home button the apps are more ready and fast to use when resumed from the background.

But the big ISSUE is that the most apps in the Play Store don't support the automatic refresh when resumed from the background (as for Sony News app)!

And the developers don't read the feedbacks and don't implement this feature. So it needs to manually refresh by swipe down or exit to the app by back button 😕

They will load faster because the app is being held in ram already open which is quicker than loading from storage.
The auto refresh is poorly written in most apps and is often seen as actually poor ram management as instead of a held state, the app is seen to be reloading which some see as the ram having to reload.

So, definely, the best way is to put in background the app by using the home button and let it autorefresh itself when resumed if the autorefresh feature is present.

If the autorefresh feature there isn't, resume the app and then manually refresh by swiping down.

That's correct?
