No video playback

I can't playback any videos I have recorded on my phone they are showing in gallery but when I click on them it won't play just get loading symbol this is on new Xperia 1

Which build number and Album app are you on?

I've tested the phone in safe mode, clear cache, cast the videos, it won't work, they will work if you download a different video app, so corrupted files it's not the issue.

I'm on 55.0.A.2.314 Album > 9.6.A.0.12

Update, after restarting the device 3 times, it's now working, do report back.

Oh it's working now thanks for help I tried casting and it unlocked the screen

I tried casting to another device seemed to unlock something then the videos started playback on my phone must have been locked somewhere
