Vibration when lifting to signal new messages

Hi,

I am missing a feature of my new Sony Xperia 1 II.

My old Samsung Galaxy S5 used to vibrate when it was lifted to signal that there where new messages. Samsung called that "Smart Alert".

Is there no such feature with the Xperia 1 II??

Smart alert is a Samsung feature so won't be present on Xperia.

Xperia devices have the notification led and also can activate ambient display when lifted to show an icon to show if messages have been received.

Yes, this feature is only available on Samsung phones, but it'll be really great if Sony consider some thing similar in up coming updates.
