Xperia Z1 Dock Station DK31 - intermittent power supply

I just got a new DK31 - magnet dock station for my Sony Xperia Z1. But in appears that power supply is intermittent: my phone shows "charge" and "battery" statuses every 5-10 seconds! If I charge phone via USB charger - no problems. Tries to restart, reposition phone in dock station - no success...

I would have to advise returning the docking station so that this can be reviewed sorry.

just a thought...

you can't charge the phone with magnetic dock if it's connected to the PC, it has to be wall charger, it won't work with computers.

Actually you are right 100%. Once I connect original wall charger (not my previous HTC one) problem dissapeared.

I have also noticed that once battery charged 50% and more there are no issues with intermittent charge from dock station connected to power supply by HTC charger.

hope that will help others to escape similar issue.
