I just bought San Andreas but when i max out the graphic settings game slows down. Is it normal? Because i think Z1 can handle it on max settings.

Can you try the Dark Knight Rises and tell me the results? It works flawless on my device.Maybe I will try GTA too.

I don't have enough space for Dark Knight but i play Asphalt 8 at max settings without problems.

It should,but as I haven't tried it yet I cannot confirm.The dark knight has 1.8 GB and sharp graphics and it is smooth.How much does GTA take?

Well,I guess you should contact the developers and I might try the game on my Z1.

LE:I have seen it work on Xperia T but I do not know if the graphics were set on high or low.

Ok,just tried GTA on my Z1.It does drop a few frames from time to time,but I have played on high graphics (shadows,cars etc to max) and it works pretty cool.

So those frame drops is their problem or Z1's hardware can't handle it?

I think it is not perfectly optimized for Android,this has been seen on Note 3 and S4 if I remember.But the experience is good,those frame drops are rare.

That can be a problem on installation.
