you could use Myxperia or android device manager to reset your device, as long as

Wifi or data it's on
Gps on
Myxperia enabled
Your Gmail account it's on your phone
The phone it's on

i need to delete everything on my z2

i used to format my LG from recovery

any method to format z2 from recovery not factory reset

There's no recovery on Xperias. You need a PC or a Mac or as I'd suggested MyXperia or Android Device Manager.

1. PCC or Bridge as suggested by @Phy

2. using MyXperia/Android device manager to delete everything on your phone.
