WH-1000XM3 not charging when turned off

Hey, so I wasn't having any issues but recently my WH-1000XM3 haven't been charging when already turned off. There's nothing wrong with the cable, I tried it on other items and I've tried other cables. If the headphones are turned on and I plug them in, it charges fine.

The issue is that I wasn't thinking and let the battery die before charging, and now I can't charge them at all. And as dead I can't do a factory reset either etc. Has anyone experience in this, is it the battery or something? They're only 13 months old

In the App on your mobile phone you change the settings for if to turn off at a certain time period (I have mine at 3 hours) but you can put it ''Never'' so it doesn't turn off while charging. Hope this helps and try it out. Let me know~!
