Sony SRS-XB43 doesn't turn on

Hi,

My Sony SRS-XB43 speakers were working fine now they don't turn on.

When plugged in the charge light comes on, but when you try to turn them on the power light comes on then the charge light flashes about three times then the bluetooth light comes on then they all go off except the charge light which stays on.

I can't send it back as it's out off warranty. Can anyone help please?

Hi Nic,

Thanks but yes I've tried that.

I have left it charging overnight (it should charge in 5 hrs) and the charge light is still on, it should go off when charged. I suppose I could try plugging my phone into the output usb to see if there is any charge in the battery?

If that doesn't work I can only assume it's the battery or charging circuit?

I connect a device to the output usb, nothing, whether the charging cable is plugged in or not.

I've just checked the battery and there's 7v in it.

I found a couple of fuses on the pcb which buzzed out ok.

There's no components which look blown, so I'm stumped..........!!

Any Ideas people? :0)
