A6700 issue uploading SD card to portable hard drive

Newbie question . Today I was uploading an SD card to my portable HD backup. I noticed I was missing my Raw file for several pictures. I’d loaded an earlier SD card without any issues.

I remember importing some to my smartphone to check on the clarity etc. Which I’ve done before on my 6600. Looks like there were saved as jpg.

So what setting did I mess up on the 6700? I’m not a pro by any means but I want to make sure I don’t make that mistake again.
Images taken or other dates all show up as RAW. I am a MAC/Apple user.
