LENS SOFTWARE UPDATES

I've updated the software on my SEL 55-210 lens when I bought the A6000 & now I don't appear to be able to use manual or DMF focussing modes.

Has anyone else had any problems - or is it me not knowing what I'm doing ?

I've updated my 30mm macro and 50mm 1.8 lenses and have had no issues with my A6000. 😕

I contacted Sony - but wasn't expecting a reply ! - but they did and suggested I just re-do the updating process, which I did & despite the screen saying that the process had been aborted all now seems to be well.

Since then I've updated a 50/1.8 with no problems.

Probably just the usual clunky Sony software !!
