NEX5n - Infinity Focus?

Hi, I'm trying to find the perfect setting with my Nex5n for taking photos of the nightsky, I don't want to use a preset and know that I need to set my ISO to a high number and my shutter speed needs to be slow... but what I cannot find is how to set the camera to infinity focus?

Or is there an easier better way to do this?

Any help would be great

Hi JayPDC!

No real trick to do such a thing: just put the camera in MF (manual focus) by pressing menu - camera- AF/MF select. Select MF and turn the focus ring counterclockwise (give it a few turns...). All E-mount lenses are focus-by-wire, which means there is not direct mechanical coupling with the focus ring, the ring keeps on turning.

Even better is to use focus magnifier (you can find this under settings) and focus on stars or the moon.
