Possible damage to sensor?

I am having problems with dust on the sensor of my A6000. I was wondering if I could use a Milty Zerostat 3 Anti-Static Gun https://www.amazon.co.uk/Milty-Zerostat-3-Anti-Static-Gun/dp/B0033SHDSS to reduce the static attraction without causing damage to other parts of the camera.

welcome to the Sony User Community Forum..

I wouldn't recommend using an anti static gun as I would think it could cause damage to the sensor..

I recently had a speck of dust on my sensor & I first tried using the cameras inbuilt cleaning mode which didn't help so I then switched the camera off, removed the lens & then used a large blower (hand blower) which thankfully did the trick..
