USB Charger?

Hi...I have just literally taken the camera out of its box to charge it up...but where you put the tiny connector into the camera it dont fully go in...is this right.Im looking to see if the charge light is on, but theres just a glow from inside the camera, as I was assuming the "light" on the front of said camera ( hx90 ) should light up. Please can anyone help, I really dont want to have to send it back, so close to Christmas........thanks in advance 😉

It does say a light should be showing during charging.

yes, that is right.

While the port looks like a "Micro-USB-Port", it really is a "Sony Multi-Port", which has more functions than just a default "Micro-USB-Port".

That is the reason, why the micro USB charging cable doesn't go in as far as you are used to from other devices with a default "Micro-USB-port".
