sony prs600 battery discarging in shutdown mode

Hello All,

My sony prs-600 battery discharges on its own even when the reader is in shutdown mode--after about a month the battery is completely drained.

Is this is normal or is it my battery that is defective?

Hi yes this is perfectly normal, the unit does trickle discharge over time, it is not a fault

This could explain why I only get 2-300 pageturns from a battery charge, rather than the 6-7,000 advertised! My eReader has been back for repair to the battery twice since I got it in May, so not really impressed. Sony should be more honest in this.
