I have formatted a Micro SD in my dash cam and my Macbook pro wont recognise it.

When i bought it i put it in the laptop and it was ok until i formatted it.

Help needed please

which card are you talking about?

Where did you bought it?

Did you try to re-format it?

1/ SanDisk micro SD

2/Currys

3/First of all i put the SD into the computer,it showed up in the right hand corner or the screen.

Then i put the SD into my dash cam it told me to format it.

Then i did a little recording and put it back in my computer and it didnt register on the computer and it wasnt visable in Finder.

may I ask, why you are asking on the Sony Community about a SanDisk-Card you tried to format in a Apple MacBook and put into a non-Sony dashcam?

I would say that contacting the SanDisk or Apple support would be a more viable option to receive support for your issue.

Hi!

Reformat it.

Do not use APFS "Apple File System" or FAT32.

Try ExFAT or FAT -filesystem, it is option while formatting.
