Bios update problem

I have a problem concerning bios update

My vaio is SVF15A13SAP

I downloaded R0250DA bios

And started flashing

First, the windows restarted and saw vaio logo but it vanished quickly and got a black screen

Waited for a long time but nothing happened so I pressed alt+ctrl+delete

The windows opened normally but the power button is not working anymore

I have to press assist button to power on the laptop

I can't access the bios

The bios has not updated and still have the old version R0200DA

Please help

Hi Dario,

Were you still using the same operating system that your VAIO came with or did you upgrade that at any point? I'd recommend trying to do a system recovery.

I don't have the recovery anymore

And yes I have done an upgrade

I could solve the problem of starting the laptop by removing the battery and ac adapter then reconnecting them

Now when trying to update the bios it gives an error message invalid firmware image
do you have any solution to this problem
