Would anyone be of great help and perhaps point me in the right direction regarding a memory upgrade for the Sony Vaio VPCEB1M1E.....I've been told about various memory modules that are compatible but one place says one thing and another says different....Thanks!

I have always found Crucial very reliable as they guarantee 100% compatibility and have a tool that will scan your system to check.

Your model should take 8GB (4GB X 2) and you need to check if you have a single 4GB fitted - in which case you will need an additional 4GB for the second vacant slot.
