If so try starting in Safe Mode which will use a default 640 X 480 VGA display.  To enter Safe Mode tap F8 repeatedly when you see the Vaio splash screen and choose safe mode.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Safe Mode will allow you to look into the Event Viewer for errors on boot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When in Safe mode you probably need to reinstall the Graphics Driver as it sounds like this may have become corrupt.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.fi/html/@13A2E6A3774A8B47B4EC6F04089539E1/images/smilies/063.png" alt=":thinking:" title=":thinking:" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>VGC LT1M 3 beeps</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi there,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Big problems here, it started with some crashes and then i reinstalled using the recovery disks, all went well until yesterday, the machine when i power up gave 3 beeps 1 long one then 2 shorter ones and just a blank screen, think it might be the graphics card, how might I change this if this is right?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can not use it at all...any ideas?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
