topic Remote Control in PCs & Accessories

Hello,
I recently bought a Vaio TP1. After several days of working perfectly, the remote control doesn't function anymore. There's definetly no problem with the remote control itself for it works fine on my other vaio. The TP1 still flashes the red light when I push a button but it doesn't do anything else. The problem must be inside the computer. Is there a way to repair this?
Thanks.
