With some models the Touchpad can be enabled/disabled by holding down the Fn key and pressing F1.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Also check in Device Manager under Mice and other pointing devices that you have a Touchpad listed and that it is reported as working correctly (Properties).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Given the above information we may have a better idea of whether this is a software or hardware problem.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Rich&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>VPCEH3N6E Touchpad not working</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The touch pad of my VIAO has stopped working. The mouse pointer is in the center of the screen and does not react to any touchpad actions. I have restarted the notepad many time but of no use. The external mouse thru the USB works fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you help me resolve the issue?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
