Windows 7 and Biometric security

I have just updated my Vaio VGN-TX3XP to Windows 7. Unfortunately the Protector Suite QL that works the fingerprint biometric processor will not work with W7.

Has anyone found a product that will work the biometric coprocessor with W7?

Have you upgraded from XP or Vista. Your machine would have been shipped with XP but there is a Vista upgrade sensor driver that is worth a try if you have not already done so although I don’t think that it is Windows 7 compatible.

If that fails to work then you could try installing an update to Protector Suite 2009 which is available on models such as the VGN AW11 amongst others.

This should work with Windows 7.
