If the former then make sure that you have Speakers/HP set as the default device for the inbuilt speakers to work. Device Manager &amp;gt; Sounds &amp;gt; Playback tab.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="MsoNoSpacing"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: " times="" new="" roman=""&gt;If this is already set as the default device, and you are using standard 3.5mm jack headphones, try plugging in and unplugging them rapidly a number of times. I suggest this as there may be a sticking component within the socket that is muting the internal speakers and this action may possibly free it up.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="MsoNoSpacing"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: " times="" new="" roman=""&gt;If this fails to work then either take your notebook back to the supplier or contact support.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="MsoNoSpacing"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: " times="" new="" roman=""&gt;Rich&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
