Please help... VPCF13M4E fan noise, temperature

Even after changing the mode to silent using the vaio control centre, the fan seems to be running loudly creating unpleasant noise...

Please help me how to find the temperature (to check how hot inside) and how to reduce the fan noise.

through the left vent, somwhat hot air is pushing out.. dont know anything wrong with computer that needs to be changed ..

Unfortunately, modern,poweful computers generate a lot of heat.

To see if the fan is running fast to keep the temperature down or if it could run more slowly, try downloading PC Wizard:

And check the CPU temperature at idle and under load (playing a game or playing a DVD) and let us know how hot it gets. It is probably the case that a high fan rate is required to prevent the Vaio overheating and to prevent CPU shutdown.
