VAİO Recovery Problem

Hi all;

I tried to make a full recovery of my C: drive this morning. Before I had experienced memory problems that might be caused by a virus or some. Anyway, my system was not booting and I was having all kinds of blue screens.

I launched the recovery in the safe mode, the computer rebooted and some screens came, then in about 8 minutes I received an error and the process stopped in the middle.

Now here is my problem starts. I think all the data in my C drive got deleted because I can not boot my system, and I can not even access to the safe mode or any supporting software please help me.

If you started an install and it stopped halfway - part of the install formats the drive so yes you would have lost everything when it started to restore the drive to factory defaults

Can you post the errors you are getting please?

You need to always try the restore again to see what happens

Hi onurinal,

Try this... Start your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo screen press F10 repeatedly this normally would start the recovery process.

If the recovery process begins try selecting full recovery..
