Hi i have the sony 43xe7073 tv and was wodering how to power it down after switching off with the remote

Hi Gordon, welcome to the Community

You should be able to power down your TV using the dedicated button on the rear panel. Long press to power down, short press to start up. Have a look at p.8 in the manual for more details.
