KDS50e2010 blink codes

My son has one of these 50" HDTV's in his room (he's 17) and it has a problem that I hope somebody can help us with.

It turns on and stays on for about 90 seconds or so and then goes off, it has a blink code like this

Red, Green, Red, Green, Red, Green (for about 3 seconds) and then repeats the cycle.

Turn it off leave it a few mins and the same again

I have cleaned and checked the fans, chips (x2) and the area where the bulb sits, he did have the area (air flow was reduced) covered but it is now clear

Any help with this problem would be appreciated
