HDMI PROBLEM

For the last few months my sony tv works perfectly with my hp laptop connected via HDMI. But from last few days I constantly receive the ‘No Signal. Check the external input or select another input using the INPUT buttons’ comment at the bottom right hand corner of the TV. I ave tried different ways but no results. It was working well but I dont know what happens ? My laptop detects the Sony tv as connected secondary display but the Sony tv shows no signal . What should I do?

Hi @Latifdu,

maybe your PCs HDMI-output resolution or framerate got messed up because of an update or something else.

Check that your output resolution is set to e.g. 1920x1080 and that the refresh rate is not above 60Hz.

For the refresh rate you probably have to check directly inside your graphics cards control panel.
