please help me

the TV is restarted by pressing the [HOME] button and then pressing [RETURN] on the remote control

i have firmware version 8.673

now this version is unavailable on sony page

and i read on sony support firmvare version 8.674 fix this problem,

I can not install this update via wifi or usb

tv does not show me a new update for my choice

I tested everything according to the instructions on sony.com . many times

i try factory reset and after try find firmvare but nothing.

Welcome to our community!

This is issue you described is a bit weird and will need further troubleshooting I'd say. If you have any external devices connected I recommend disconnecting them to test the performance of the TV without them. It's also helpful to disconnect the TV from the mains without turning it off to discharge any static.

You mentioned that you're unable to update the TV neither form the TV itself nor via a USB stick, could you let us know what exactly happened or went wrong? You'll find detailed instructions on this link on how to update your TV.

i need only fix this problem:

Resolves an issue where, under certain circumstances, the TV restarts when pressing the [HOME] button and then the [RETURN] button on the remote control
i start have this problem after actualisation fw to v8.673
i think whit this actualisation is something wrong
beacouse sony deleted from his page
i try ewrithing really to fix this problem but nothing

If you currently have FW v8.673 installed on your TV, you'll need to update it to v8.674 in an attempt to resolve this issue. If you're unable to update your TV via USB or from the internet itself, could you let us know what happens when you try to update via a USB? Do you get an error message or the update files are not recognised?

when I put the USB inside with the new update TV told me no update to choose

and with wifi its the same

Hi Robo222,

Here's a few suggestions you can try to make sure the files are properly downloaded on the USB stick to make sure the TV will recognise it:

- Format your USB to FAT32 or exFAT on your computer.

- Make sure to extract the downloaded files then move them to the root of the USB. That means it shouldn't be in any folders.

- Try different USB ports on yout TV and a different USB stick if possible.
