TV Turn Off Problem

A few seconds after switching off the TV on the remote control or the shut down button, it switches on again. The TV is KDL-32WD755.

As a starting point it may be worth checking if the batteries are

running low in the remote control.

Batteries are new. But from Sony's service station, I was advised to remove the batteries from the remote control and put them again. I did it and it has effect for now.
