KDL-32W653A is insanely slow

Our Bravia KDL-32W653A TV is brilliant but has one big issue - it's so so slow to respond.

When you start up, it takes lots longer than it used to to bring the picture up, and usually takes a further 3-4 minutes to start populating the program list in the TV guide. If you want to switch input you might as well go and make a cuppa in the time it'll take to respond to the button press, and even then it will bring up the input list but not respond to any further button presses. The input list then times out and you have to do the whole lot again.

And you can forget about using apps on the SEN for a good 5 minutes after you've switched on too - apparently that's asking way too much.

Is this normal? Is there any way I can speed it up at all?

Hi Alex,

Can you try a power reset and see if this helps resolve the issue. If not, then try a Factory Data Reset which should improve the issue. More details on how to do this here.
