topic Tv-Amp Scene Select with Bravia Sync in Other TVs https://community.sony.fi/t5/other-tvs/tv-amp-scene-select-with-bravia-sync/m-p/317383#M6924 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Hi,</P><P></P><P>I've got a KDL40NX713 tv and STRDH820 amp and am a bit unhappy with the way Bravia Sync Scene Select changes the amp mode when the tv SS is in auto mode.</P><P></P><P>The quibble I've got is when the football's on tv, the amp changes to Sports mode - fine until the discussion in the studio bit when the echo becomes truely annoying. Similarly, when on a music channel, Music SS doesn't come on automatically, but selecting it manually turns the amp to Concert mode. To put it bluntly, I dont want the Amp to turn to these modes for those scene types (although going to HD-DCS for Cinema scene is perfect). I want it to select PLIIx MV for Sports and PLIIx MS for Music. What I would have wanted from my amp is to be able to tell it to select these modes for those scene types but it seems this isn't an option.
